Ortel Technologies brings over 20 years of service and experience to the technology and communications industry under the guidance of “Chris Ortel” – the nickname for its CEO and owner Christian Orbesen.
In Chicago in 1997, Orbesen started out as a low-voltage contractor with Union Local 134. He added equipment sales of PBX telephone systems to the hospitality industry, and his cabling and wired installation expertise lead several brand-name companies to contract for his services, establishing relations with them for years.
As industry shifts expanded technology options, Orbesen kept up-to-date with new technologies and service and support demands, adding high-speed wireless networking to his cabling and installation business menu.
Orbesen moved his company to Tampa, Florida in 2004. By 2010, he celebrated his 200th new-construction hotel completion, having installed a complete, structured voice, data, fiber optic and coaxial infrastructure for his client.
Today, Orbesen’s Ortel Technologies, Inc. delivers installations, service and support to hotels, condominium/time-shares, multi-family residential (MDU) properties, hospitals, senior-living complexes, retail hotspots, and outdoor RV facilities.
Additionally, services cover 24/7/365 guest support, including portal page entry and redirection upon authentication.
